How do I play?
Scout a young player, then raise them day by day. Train, rest, feed and talk to keep their energy, morale, fitness, discipline and skill in shape. Play matches and make in-game decisions, ride out dilemmas and rivalries, and climb from the youth team all the way to legend. Check in each day and make the calls that matter.
What do the stats do?
Energy, morale, fitness, discipline and skill drive how your player performs and grows. Each daily action moves them — rest restores energy, training builds skill and fitness, feeding keeps condition up, and talking lifts morale. Let them slide and form drops; keep them balanced and your player thrives.
What is the AI companion?
Your player can write to you and reply to your messages in character, with a personality shaped by how you treat them. When AI replies are on, your messages and your player's stats are sent to our backend to generate a reply — never your real identity. You can read more in our Privacy Policy.
Can I play without the AI / offline?
Yes. Choose Play offline when you start, or switch to it any time in Settings. The whole game still works — your player just replies with built-in lines instead of live AI ones, and nothing is sent.
Does the AI decide matches?
No. Match results come from your player's stats and the in-game decisions you make. The AI only writes your player's personality and replies — colour, never a result.
My player said something odd.
Replies are AI-generated, so an occasional strange line can slip through. It's cosmetic and never changes the game. You can report anything that feels off from inside the app, or email us a screenshot and we'll improve it.
Do I need an internet connection?
The game itself — care, matches, the story, achievements — works fully offline. Only live AI replies need a connection; without one, the app falls back to built-in lines, so play is never blocked.
What happens when my player retires?
When a career ends, you can share your season card and then start again — retire one star and begin raising the next generation from scratch.
How do I reset my progress?
Settings → clear your data removes your player, stats, story and history. Deleting the app also removes all local data.
Is this an official FIFA or club app?
No. Football Star is an independent, fictional game and is not affiliated with FIFA, UEFA or any official organisation, league, club or competition. All players, clubs and events are fictional, and there's no real-money betting of any kind.
